Intimate Kohanaiki Beach Wedding: Chase & Necelyn
Prior to their wedding, Necelyn shared with me the first memory she has of Chase... him making her laugh until she cried in their eighth grade leadership class. From that memory stemmed an insanely close friendship for the following school years, but eventually fizzled out when the two lost touch. They graduated high school and Necelyn moved to Los Angeles for college. As you can probably guess, however, that was not the end of the story... on one of Necelyn's visits home, they reconnected! Chase made her laugh until she cried again, and she left to return to college the very next day. After that encounter, they realized that they needed to be together.
Since that day, they've been through so much. Five years of long distance; Necelyn in Los Angeles and Chase back home in Hilo. Building a house from scratch, as well as many others along the way. After 10 years together, Chase & Necelyn had a small, intimate ceremony at Kohanaiki Beach Park in Kona, here on the Big Island of Hawai'i. They tied the knot surrounded by family and close friends, just like they wanted.
Following the ceremony they and their guests gathered for a lunch/ dinner (I like to call it "linner") reception held at Daylight Mind Coffee Company; a cafe nearby that sits right on the water with a balcony that overlooks the Kona coast.
I still believe that their best and grandest adventures are ahead of them! Congratulations Chase & Necelyn, wishing you a lifetime of adventures and teary eyed laughs.
